Inventing Anna Cast: Things you didn’t know about the Celebs

After Avatar 2, we have brought inside stuff about Inventing Anna. Whether you love it, hate it, or are simply tired of hearing about it, Netflix’s Inventing Anna Cast is everywhere. We’re sure you know a lot more about the infamous Anna Delvey by now, but we bet you don’t know quite as much about the actor playing the con woman on screen.

Onscreen Anna is a hilarious impressionist IRL

You probably already know she’s good at what she does, better than good in fact. She has an Emmy Award. But did you know Garner is a hilarious impressionist? The Inventing Anna star is mostly known for her intensely dramatic chops and not exactly for her comedy. So you can imagine our surprise when we came across a hilarious little clip from her time on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Garner performed several amazing impressions and we couldn’t believe our eyes or ears.

She started her session off by impersonating none other than her mother, who has a very thick Israeli accent we might add. But Garner switched accents faster than you can change clothes and started retelling a story about a sketch her mom used to pull on telemarketers. Guess it runs in the family.

The Real Vivian’s been working since she was a baby

Inventing Anna cast is quite talented if you didn’t already know, and we’re not just talking about Julia Garner. Anna Chlumsky, who plays Vivian in the series, has about 6 Emmy nominations to her name! Her role in HBO’s workplace comedy, Veep is what put her on the map. But this Anna was working way before she was cracking up the audience and writing bombshell pieces.

The apparent got her first job when she was just a 10-month-old baby! We’re not making this up folks. She was a baby model for Chicago’s department store Carson Pirie Scott and stayed in the world cover photos until she turned 8. This is when she finally fessed up to her mom that she was “tired of being stuck with pins”, and didn’t like modeling anymore.

Rachel loves to sing karaoke

Before landing the role of Rachel in Inventing Anna cast, Katie Lowes was, what they call, a perpetual guest star. She’s bounced in between so many shows that you probably have seen her before in either The Sopranos, Without a Trace, NCIS, Ghost Whisperer, Swingtown, Castle, and Grey’s Anatomy. See what we meant? It wasn’t until Shonda Rhimes’ Scandal that she became one of the series regulars.

When she’s not busy editing photos to go with scandalous news pieces, Katie likes to belt out a tune or two. Turns out the actress absolutely loves karaoke. Do you know how people who love karaoke are always bad at it? Well, that’s not the case with Katie. She’s pretty good at it and enjoys singing to YouTube karaoke videos with her husband, Adam Shapiro.

Todd Spodek has had “some” experience with Law

One of the best parts of the show was Arian Moayed’s Todd Spodek. Fans might’ve not liked Anna’s character but they sure did like her lawyers. Arian’s onscreen performance doesn’t come as much of a surprise once you get to know he starred opposite the late Robin Williams!

Turns out, the actor has some experience with the law since he has been in three Law & Order series! Although he wasn’t a series regular, he was a familiar face in Dick Wolf’s franchise. You might spot him in Law & Order, Law & Order: SVU, and Law & Order Criminal Intent.

Real-life Kacy Duke breaks glass ceilings every day

When on-screen Kacy Duke isn’t training Hollywood’s A-listers like Dakota Johnson, Denzel Washington, and Gwen Stefani, she’s out in the world breaking some serious glass ceilings. And we don’t mean actual glass ceilings.

Laverne Cox brings the super-fit Kacy Duke to life in the Netflix original. But when the cameras aren’t rolling, you’ll see Cox advocating for LGBTQ+ rights. Heck, she even sued a New City Hospital for denying her service because of her gender. Guess who won. Not only did she win, but she also helped change the outdated policy. Did you know she’s also the first-ever Trans Actor who was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award? That’s the glass ceiling we’re talking about.

Neff was a front desk clerk

While the show does feature some Emmy stars, most of the Inventing Anna cast come from pretty humble beginnings. Like Alexis Floyd for example. Before she was playing BFFs with a con-woman on screen, she was working an average job.

She’s pretty new to the acting scene and only just started her career in 2019 with the super woke series The Bold Type. Her character wasn’t a regular though and when they canceled the show, Floyd had bills to pay just like the rest of us. And she paid for them by working the front desk at a yoga studio.
